Who reads these "about" sections anyways? Are you looking for credibility? I am probably not as credible as you'd think. The internet is a wild place and who can say what information is credible and what isn't?
Let me give you to keys to internet research: 1) corroboration and 2) verification 3) Awesomonation
1) Corroboration: Check other sources that you've grown to trust. Does that data match with this new data you've been presented with?
2)Verification: Did past claims or predictions from the source come to fruition?
3) Is the information well-written? Do you trust the intellectual capacity of the individual that wrote the article? Did they create random lists and even throw in made-up words?
