New iTunes Last.fm Tagger Beta
Once again, I’ve made some improvements to the itunes tagger. This is version 2.1, and a lot of the features are still experimental. This program now uses last.fm api version 2.0. Which among other things, means that the program is now able to make api 5 times the amount of calls per second (which increases the tagger significantly). Here’s the two new experimental features:
Tagging from the system tray:
The program now implements a quick authentication feature, and allows you to tag songs via the tray icon and submit the changes to last.fm. It only submits any tags that were modified or added. Here’s a screenshot:
Similar Tracks Playlists:
This new page allows you to create playlists that are similar to the selected tracks in itunes. There are 3 sliders that allow you to adjust the types of tracks to be included in the playlist.
As always, let me know if you have any suggestions for improvement in these comments or email me.
